About
Color Doppler, High-Resolution Ultrasonography
Color Doppler is a test that uses sound waves to transmit signals between different human tissues. After being processed by computer programs, the reflected signals will generate images depending on different mediators. Color Doppler is a non-invasive, fast and convenient screening tool, which can integrate high-resolution images and present human superficial tissues/organs (e.g. thyroid glands, carotid arteries, upper abdomen, pelvis and breasts) using simultaneous Color Doppler images. It can also be used to detect and locate soft tissue calcification, nodules, tumors and fibrotic cysts, and thus effectively enhances the accuracy of diagnoses.
