About
Painless NBI Gastroenteroscopy
Other than the traditional endoscopy, the Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) is an early cancer detection system that uses dual narrow band imaging to differentiate neoplastic polyps and non-neoplastic polyps. In addition, flat adenoma, which cannot be detected using traditional endoscopy, can be presented clearly using NBI and thus help the surgeon locate gastrointestinal polyps easily. Moreover, NBI can precisely detect the micro-changes in gastrointestinal mucosa. Different from conventional positive-pressure gastrointestinal pressure, NBI in combination with a TCI system applies CO2 that can be easily absorbed by the human body to ensure the stability of anesthesia during gastroenteroloscopy, which also greatly reduces abdominal discomfort caused by the exam and allows the subject to complete the test under a stable and comfortable status.
